About the Project

Sahihi Interior Builders has been delivering exceptional interior design and construction services since 2010, with over 126 projects completed across East Africa. The website redesign aimed to position Sahihi as an industry leader while emphasizing their expertise, credibility, and diverse portfolio.

A key aspect of the project was developing a typography guide to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints. This guide empowered developers to maintain alignment with Sahihi’s visual identity and ensured that every design element, from headers to body text, reflected the brand’s values.

What We Did

1. Defining the Scope

We kicked off the project by identifying Sahihi’s unique needs and objectives. Through collaborative workshops, we outlined the website’s structure, key functionalities, and desired outcomes.

2. UI/UX Redesign

The redesign focused on delivering a user-friendly and visually stunning experience:


Home Page

  • Introduced a hero section with rotating visuals of completed projects, capturing Sahihi’s breadth of expertise.

  • Highlighted key stats (e.g., “126+ projects,” “13 years of experience”) to immediately establish credibility.

Portfolio Page

  • Created a grid-based layout to showcase projects across industries, allowing users to filter by category (e.g., banking, retail, healthcare).

  • Included high-resolution imagery and project descriptions to emphasize attention to detail.

Services Page

  • Crafted an engaging overview of Sahihi’s offerings, with a focus on turnkey solutions, office spaces, and commercial interiors.

  • Added icons and short descriptions to make the content more digestible.

About Us Page

  • Narrated Sahihi’s journey, values, and team expertise, building trust with potential clients.


Blog

  • Designed a clean, minimalistic layout for articles to highlight Sahihi’s thought leadership in design trends and innovations.

3. Typography Guide

To maintain visual consistency, we created a typography guide that defined:

  • Font Pairings: A modern serif for headers paired with a clean sans-serif for body text.

  • Hierarchy: Clear guidelines for font sizes, weights, and spacing to ensure readability and brand alignment.

  • Usage: Instructions for applying typography across various platforms (e.g., web, print, social media).
